Channel 33’s programme El documental will broadcast the documentary Terra Lliure, punt final next Saturday the 14th of April at 10 pm. The documentary was produced by Batabat, the audiovisual production company of the Cultura 03 group, and Zeba Produccions.
Written and directed by the journalist David Bassa, the documentary describes the complete history of the armed organisation Terra Lliure, from its foundation in 1979 until its final dissolution in 1995. The production brings together twenty-six interviews that offer a global and plural vision of the organisations history. Among the testimonies compiled in the film, of particular interest are the words of the judge Baltasar Garzn, the ex-president of the Catalan government, Jordi Pujol, and the ex-delegate of the Spanish government in Catalonia, Francesc Mart Jusmet, none of whom had ever before spoken of Terra Lliure.
After its broadcast on C33, the DVD of the documentary will be available with the next issue of the magazine Spiens, at newsstands from 19 April.
