Ara Llibres is satisfied with the judicial decision in the Rubianes case
Ara Llibres wishes to express its satisfaction with the decision of the presiding judge of judicial investigation court number 5 to dismiss the case against Pepe Rubianes in Sant Feliu de Llobregat on Monday morning, 7th May. Rubianes was cleared of the crimes of “insults against Spain” and inciting hate. The decision also included the dismissal of charges of complicity against Albert Om, who was described as an “irreproachable professional”.
Ara Llibres, who has supported and continues to support both men, celebrates that in the end justice has prevailed and freedom of expression has been respected.
