Inside the mind of Hitler
How did a simple Austrian corporal, physically unattractive and with a weak constitution and manage to persuade millions of people and rise to the position of supreme power in Germany?

This question was an obsession for United States intelligence agencies who were convinced that the psyche of the Führer was the key to understanding Germany’s actions during the war. To find an answer, they used all the resources at their disposal and appointed the best psychologists and psychiatrists to draft documents that would eventually help them understand many things. To do this, the experts counted on the decisive contributions of Ernst Franz Hafstaengl, a former Nazi leader and intimate friend of Hitler before his fall to disgrace.

Sàpiens has accessed these recently declassified reports of the United States National Archives. Using these documents and with the cooperation of professor of psychology Miquel Siguan and principal historians specialising in Hitler and the Third Reich, Sàpiens penetrates the complex personality of the dictator and analyses different decisive facets of his life, from the frustrations of his youth and his sexual tendencies to the gestation of his hate for Jews, to his dreams of grandeur.

The magazine, at newsagents as of the 21st of June, includes a free book containing a reproduction of the first report on the personality of the Führer.
