The journalist Vicent Sanchis (València, 1961) will join Grup Cultura 03 on the 4th of February as the director of content, a post that has been newly created for the purpose of continually revitalising content quality, which is considered the foundation of the cultural industry, using Europe’s best products as benchmarks.
Sanchis will take part in the publishing committees, writing boards and idea committees of the group’s publications with the aim of creating systems that allow creativity, transversal synergies and the incorporation of new authors into the group to be taken to the limit. “I’m excited by this new challenge in a group that shows such a brave and unselfconscious commitment to contributing to the growth and strength of the Catalan cultural industry,” said Sanchis about his up-coming position.
The new post will not carry management responsibilities; rather the heads of each of the publications and imprints will carry on directing each project they take on. Vicent Sanchis, born in València in 1961 has been the editor of AVUI for the past twelve years and has been the chairman of its editorial board since November. He had previously headed up the weekly El Temps, the newspaper El Observador as well as different TVC television programmes.
