ROMANESQUE ANDORRA
The medieval art of the valley of Valira is unfairly eclipsed by the fame of the Romanesque in other parts of the Pyrenees. The church of Santa Coloma d’Andorra is an extremely important monument that has brought the chronology of the pre-Romanesque into question. The Principality also boasts twelve mural frescos, eight Lombard bell towers and other pieces of great worth. We discover all of this historical treasure.
