THE EBRO DELTA
Located at the extreme end of the country, the Delta was the last Catalan territory to be populated, during the 19th century. The colonists fought an immense struggle to turn these immense wetlands into fruitful rice fields. Now, the Delta is a nature reserve where the river Ebro runs its last kilometres among crops, lagoons and coastal dunes watched by the thousands of birds that find refuge there.
It is also an area with a cultural identity that makes it unique.

Hidden treasures
We enter five emblematic Catalan libraries and archives and seek the most valuable incunabula.
Vall de Lord
Peace and quiet is guaranteed in this corner of the Solsonès, where el Cardener, the la Llosa del Cavall reservoir and the springs water a landscape of masias and Romanesque jewels.
Coques de Sant Joan
How is this traditional midsummer pastry made? We explain step by step how to make an excellent coca at home while we tell the story behind it and travel to the most important midsummer celebrations in the Països Catalans.
48 hours in Manresa
Art Nouveau and Gothic styles beat strongly in the heart of Catalonia. To examine the life inside it, we organize a weekend trip.
Landscape in movement
Now is the time to see, from afar, how the chamois climb to the summits to get food.
With other eyes We take a look down from above on the Peñíscola rock, challenging the sea.
Traces
Joan Manel Riera has turned his curiosity about el Corredor into a profession.
Green land
Orchids scatter their ephemeral beauty among the mountain forests and meadows.
